Why time windows keep a blog consistent

Instead of choosing a date for every single post, choose a window once. Posts then fill the free slots by themselves.

Scheduling post by post is tiring. A time window turns it into a single decision.

What a time window is

A time window is a rule such as every Monday and Thursday at 9 in the morning. Every new post you add simply takes the next free slot.

Why it works

  • You decide the rhythm once instead of fifty times.
  • Posts never collide on the same day.
  • When you add more posts, the queue simply grows into the future.

How to pick a good window

Look at when your readers are most active and start with one or two slots per week. You can always change the window later, and planned posts move along with it.
